My clients come to me because they are feeling "stuck" and wanting to work through past trauma or experiences impeding on their current day to day life and goals using EMDR or other evidence based modalities. My approach to therapy starts with believing that change is in our control and, by working from that mentality, we can learn to accept & grow from what we cannot control in order to live our life in a more optimal way. Being in the LGBT community myself, some of my clients value having a therapist that can connect with that experience.
