Therapy is something that should make room for you to be you, not just in the session, but in its outcome. A person's mental health struggles come from somewhere - let's unpack that together and see what we can unlearn. I believe that therapy should be a safe space to explore all of the issues that may exist everywhere in our lives, and where good intentions are assumed in a caring, kind, and in an emotionally safe environment. Come as you are, and bring your humor. Past clients have described me as a mama bear - loving but will give a firm push. I will let you know that I will challenge you and give homework from time to time.
