I’m not a nod-and-smile therapist. I’m engaged, and will tell you what I’m noticing and I’ll want to know if it lands; therapy with me feels more like a real conversation. I care a lot about power being as equal as possible in the room, and believe you’re the expert on your life. I bring training, pattern recognition, and a nervous system that can stay steady. I work a lot with people recovering from abuse and with adult children of narcissistic or self-absorbed parents. If you’ve been gaslit, minimized, or made to feel “too sensitive,” we’ll work on rebuilding trust in your own perception. I also love couples work.
